Specifiers who need TMV2 for domestic projects can choose the Arka Cool Touch TMV2 instead. Check that your hot and cold supplies arrive at 150mm centres (±22mm) and are balanced to within 1 bar.

Installation notes

Back-entry supplies via ¾" to ½" BSP connectors, concealed or exposed. Temperature limits can be altered by the installer if required. As a TMV3 valve it should be commissioned and maintained in line with TMV3 guidance by a qualified installer.

Does this include a shower kit?

No – this is the valve only. AKW Standard, Care and Rain Head kits are available, or choose the Arka TMV3 sold with a kit.

What is the difference between TMV2 and TMV3?

TMV2 covers domestic installations; TMV3 is the healthcare/commercial scheme required in care homes and hospitals. This valve is TMV3 approved.

Will it work on a low pressure system?

It works from a minimum dynamic pressure of 0.2 bar, provided the hot and cold supplies are balanced to within 1 bar.
