AKW Freeway Portable Freestanding Carer Shower Screen – Choice of 750mm or 900mm Height & 2, 3 or 4 Panels

AKW Freeway Portable Freestanding Carer Shower Screen – Choice of 750mm or 900mm Height & 2, 3 or 4 Panels

The AKW Freeway portable shower screen is a freestanding splash screen for carers. It needs no wall fixings – simply stand it where the showering area needs to be, on a shower tray or a wet room floor, and move it away again when you are done. That makes it ideal for very small bathrooms, rooms with limited access, rented or temporary accommodation and care settings where a fixed screen is not practical.

Choose a 750mm or 900mm high screen and the panel layout that suits the space: two panels for a corner, three panels to wrap around the front and sides, or four panels for the longest coverage. D handles are fitted as standard so the screen is easy to lift and position.

How to choose

Height: 750mm suits most seated showering and lets a carer reach over easily; 900mm gives extra splash protection for a standing carer.

Panels: a 2 panel screen forms an L-shape around a corner (650, 750 or 1000mm per side); the 3 panel 350 x 700 x 350mm screen wraps around the front and sides; the 4 panel 400 x 225 x 225 x 400mm screen gives the longest, most flexible run.

Measure the space around the shower chair or showering area and allow room for the carer to stand outside the screen.
