The AKW Navlin Doc M raised height close coupled toilet is a rimless, 480mm high toilet designed for accessible bathrooms, Doc M washrooms, care homes and anyone who finds a standard height toilet hard to use. It is built the way trade buyers like to buy – so you only pay for what you need.

Buy the pan only to replace a damaged pan, add a cistern to make a working toilet, add a seat, or choose the complete toilet – pan, cistern and seat together in one order. The price updates as you choose.

How to choose

Projection: choose 750mm where the toilet is part of a Doc M wheelchair-accessible layout and the user transfers from the side. Choose 650mm where space is tighter. Measure from the wall behind the toilet to the front of the space available.

Cistern: the lever flush cistern (23594) has a screw-down lid and is the usual choice for Doc M washrooms – the spatula lever is easy for weak hands. The raised push button cistern (23574) is neater and can be upgraded with the optional AKW Sensor Flush (28404) for contact-free flushing.

Seat: the ergonomic seats have seat lugs to keep the seat steady during side transfers, soft-close hinges and a 300kg (47st) rating. Choose a seat without a lid if the user will lean back against a backrest. The carbamide and PP soft close seats are a lower-cost choice for general use. Choose “No Seat” if you already have one.

Is this a complete toilet?

Only if you choose a cistern and a seat. The pan, cistern and seat are separate AKW parts – pick “Pan Only” and “No Seat” if you just need a replacement pan.

Does it meet Doc M?

The 480mm seat height and the 750mm projection are designed for Doc M accessible toilets. A full Doc M washroom also needs grab rails, a backrest and a basin – see our AKW Doc M packs.

Can I fit a sensor flush?

Yes – choose the raised push button cistern (23574) and add the AKW Sensor Flush (28404), which replaces the button mechanism.

Which seat is best for care settings?

The ergonomic seats – they are stronger, have seat lugs for side transfers and come in contrasting colours.
