AKW Option S Series Half Height Carer Shower Screen Sets 750mm High – Choice of Model, Size & Handing

AKW Option S Series Half Height Carer Shower Screen Sets 750mm High – Choice of Model, Size & Handing

The AKW Option S series are complete half height shower screen sets for assisted showering. At 750mm high, the screens hold back spray from the person showering while a carer can stand outside, reach over and help – keeping the carer dry and the user safe. Each set comes ready to fit a particular shower layout, with handles included and, on the models that have them, a curtain rail and white curtains so the user's privacy is protected above the screens.

Choose the model that matches your shower layout, then the size range and handing. Size ranges are adjustable, so one set fits any opening within the range shown.

Choosing your model, size & handing

Model: each Option S model is a different screen layout. Corner sets are sized as width x depth (SE, SX and SY); single-run sets are sized by width (SM, SJ, SN and SU). Compare the photos for each model, and if you are unsure which layout suits your room call us on 0333 772 4162.

Size: measure your shower opening wall to wall. Choose the size range your measurement falls within – the screens adjust to fit.

Handing: stand outside the shower looking in and choose left or right hand to match where the doors should hinge from. SN sets and the square SE set are not handed.

Option S screen sets suit care homes, hospitals, adapted family bathrooms and anyone who showers with help.

Installation notes

The screens fix to the wall and suit shower trays and level access wet room floors. Make sure walls are sound and the floor is waterproofed. Installation by a competent fitter is recommended.
