AKW Rise & Fall Height Adjustable Toilet Unit – Cistern Unit, Wall-Hung Pan or Both

AKW Rise & Fall Height Adjustable Toilet Unit – Cistern Unit, Wall-Hung Pan or Both

The AKW Rise & Fall height adjustable toilet unit lets the toilet pan move up and down at the touch of a button. The powered cistern unit carries a wall-hung pan and raises or lowers it between 410mm and 610mm (floor to top of seat), so the toilet can be set at the right height for every user – a lower height for children or shorter adults, a higher height for people who find it hard to sit down and stand up, and the height of a wheelchair seat for easier side transfers.

The wall-hung pan in this range is made for the AKW bottom-entry bidet, with openings at the rear that hide the bidet pipework. Order the cistern unit and pan together, or either part on its own. For a complete wash & dry toilet with the bidet seat included, choose the Rise & Fall option of the AKW Bidet wash & dry toilet pack.

Which option do I need?

Cistern Unit & Wall-Hung Pan – the complete rise and fall toilet, ready for an AKW bottom-entry bidet seat (ordered separately). Cistern Unit Only – choose this if you already have the matching pan. Wall-Hung Pan Only – a replacement or additional pan for the Rise & Fall cistern unit.

The Rise & Fall unit is ideal for family homes where several people with different needs share one toilet, for wheelchair users who transfer sideways, and for care homes, hospitals and supported living.

Installation notes

The unit needs a mains water supply, a waste connection and an electrical supply, and must be installed by competent trades in line with current regulations. Check that the wall can take the loads involved – your installer can advise. We can supply matching Navlin wash basins and AKW grab rails to complete the room.
