AKW SmartCare Plus Wireless Shower Remote Control (30318)
The AKW SmartCare Plus wireless shower remote control lets the user or a carer switch the shower on and off and adjust the temperature and flow from up to 10 metres away, using a Bluetooth Smart connection. It means the shower can be run up to temperature before anyone steps in, and a carer can make adjustments without reaching across the user or getting wet.
It works with the AKW SmartCare Plus electric shower only.

Who is it for?
The remote suits care homes, assisted bathing and accessible bathrooms where a carer runs the shower, and users who find it hard to reach the shower controls – for example when seated on a shower seat or wheelchair. It can be fitted at a convenient height away from the spray.
Installation notes
The remote pairs wirelessly with the SmartCare Plus, so no extra cabling is run through the wall. Fit the wall cradle where it is easy to reach for the user or carer – for example beside a shower seat or by the bathroom door – and within 10 metres of the shower. Alternatively stick it to a smooth tile or glass panel with the suction cups so it can be moved as needs change. Full pairing and set-up steps are in the AKW instruction guide below.

No. AKW states the wireless remote works with the SmartCare Plus only. The SmartCare Remote On/Off Button works with both the SmartCare Plus and Lever.
