Styccobond F44 is a solvent-free acrylic flooring adhesive used to bond safety vinyl flooring to a prepared sub-floor. It has strong initial tack, so the flooring stays put without being held down, and a long open time that gives you longer to position each sheet.
Supplied by AKW in a 5 litre tub (AKW quotes approx. 20m² per tub) and suitable for use with underfloor heating.

Where it is used
Used to bond safety vinyl sheet flooring in wet rooms, accessible bathrooms and care settings. For coving, edgings and nosings use a contact adhesive such as Styccobond F66.

Building a safety-floored wet room. A typical AKW safety flooring installation runs in this order: level the sub-floor with Levelmaster compound (plus latex liquid over timber), bond the sheet vinyl with Styccobond F44, fit a cove former at the wall base and turn the vinyl up the wall using Styccobond F66 contact adhesive, then finish the top edge with a capping strip or a flooring-to-wall trim. At the doorway, a level threshold strip gives a smooth, trip-free transition for wheelchair and walking-frame users. Getting each layer right keeps the floor watertight, hygienic and safe for years.
