AKW Tap Connector Washers – 1/2" & 3/4" Fibre or Universal Top Hat, Pack of 10

AKW tap connector washers seal the joint between a tap tail and its connector or flexible hose. A fresh washer is the simplest way to cure a drip at a tap connection and should be fitted whenever a tap or hose is replaced. They come in packs of ten, so there are always spares in the toolbox.

Choose fibre washers in 1/2" (basin taps) or 3/4" (bath taps), or universal top hat washers, whose stepped shape centres the connector on the tap tail for a reliable seal on both plastic and metal tails.

Which washer do I need?

Match the washer to the tap thread: 1/2" for most basin taps, mixers and many toilet cistern inlets, and 3/4" for most bath taps and bath fillers. Use a top hat washer where the connector needs centring on the tail – for example with a plastic tap tail or a flexible hose. Always fit a new washer when re-making a joint; old washers compress and can leak.
