The AKW thermostatic peg lever bath shower mixer tap gives you a bath fill and a safe, temperature-controlled shower from one deck-mounted tap. Large peg levers are easy to grip and turn, making it a great choice for accessible bathrooms and care settings. Buy it as the tap only or with a shower kit and riser rail.

The built-in thermostatic cartridge holds the water at a steady temperature even when someone turns on another tap or flushes a toilet, and it is factory-set to a maximum of 38°C to help prevent scalding, with an override button for hotter bath water. It is TMV2 and WRAS approved.

Tap only or with shower kit?

Tap Only (30817) – choose this if you already have a shower kit or want to choose one separately.

With Shower Kit & Rail (30817KT) – the tap supplied with an AKW shower kit including a riser rail, so the shower head can be set at the right height for each user. This is the simplest way to get a complete over-bath shower.

Installation notes

• Fits a bath with two tap holes.
• Fit isolating valves and strainers to both supplies so the thermostatic cartridge can be serviced.
• Should be installed and commissioned by a competent plumber in line with TMV2 guidance.
• Clean with warm soapy water only – avoid abrasive, chlorine or acid-based cleaners and concentrated bleach.
