Description
AKW Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Vent-A-Light Shower Extractor Fan with LED Light (15SL01)
The Vent-Axia Lo-Carbon Vent-A-Light (Silavent SPV802ETLED), supplied by AKW, combines a quiet extractor fan and a 3W LED light in one neat ceiling unit. It is designed for shower enclosures and wet areas, where it lights the showering space and removes steam at the same time – two jobs, one fitting, one hole in the ceiling.
Supplied with three bezels, including white and chrome, it can be matched to the rest of the bathroom fittings.
Key features & benefits
- Extractor fan and 3W LED light in one ceiling unit – fan and light run together
- Suitable for shower enclosures and wet areas
- Two fan speeds – one selected at installation
- Meets current Building Regulations, with approved F & L documents
- Double insulated fan; Class III light assembly
- Supplied with 3 bezels including white and chrome
- 5-year motor guarantee
Is it right for my bathroom?
The Vent-A-Light is ideal for an enclosed shower cubicle or a wet room where there is no other light directly over the showering area, and where a separate fan would add clutter. It also suits small en-suites and cloakrooms. For larger rooms, or where a continuous-running fan is required, see the Vent-Axia SELV fan range.
Removing steam at source helps prevent condensation on walls, ceilings and mirrors, which in turn reduces the risk of mould and keeps the room fresher and easier to clean.
Installation notes
The unit must be installed by a qualified electrician in line with current wiring regulations and ducted to the outside. Fan speed is set during installation.
