A light ash plank in a blonde wood tone with a natural matt surface. It sits between the cream and the grey in the range, a pale neutral with a visible grain. The grain comes from real timber, printed across thirty patterns per colour so the planks vary naturally.

Each plank is 200x1200mm and a box of six covers 1.44m². The format suits a staggered floorboard lay or a herringbone. The manufacturer's specification lists it for floors; the product name describes it as a floor and wall tile.

As porcelain the ash wood look is water-resistant and hard-wearing, so it works in a bathroom or kitchen as well as a living area. Rated by the manufacturer for bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories, hallways and living areas, in homes and light commercial settings.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Check the floor is flat, then lay on a flexible porcelain adhesive with a full bed. Keep the stagger to a third of the plank length to avoid lippage. Use a 2-3mm joint and a pale beige or light grey grout. Take planks from several boxes at once so the grain patterns are mixed.
