Biloxi Sapphire Metal Effect Textured Porcelain Outdoor Paving Tile 500x1000x20mm (Per Tile)

Priced per tile. Each 500x1000mm tile is supplied individually, so you can order the exact number you need.

The sapphire colourway as a 20mm outdoor slab: steel blue and violet patina across a weathered-metal surface, with a textured face for grip when wet. It is an unusual colour for paving and gives a terrace or courtyard a cooler, more urban feel than stone or rust tones.

Each 500x1000mm slab covers 0.5m², so a patio or balcony is laid quickly with few joints. The patina varies from slab to slab, like real metal. Use it with the indoor sapphire tile at a set of sliding doors and the floor continues through without a visible change.

A 20mm textured porcelain paving, sold per slab so you can order the exact count for the area. Lay it on pedestals, a grit bed or a full mortar bed; it must be fully supported underneath and is not fixed with ordinary tile adhesive or on dabs of mortar.

Specification

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Lay on pedestals, a grit bed or a full mortar bed with a slurry primer, with the whole underside supported; a 20mm porcelain slab will crack if bedded on dabs. Joints of 3 to 5mm on a mortar bed, exterior grout, and a diamond blade for cuts. Keep the metal-effect grain running one way.

Biloxi sapphire is made in three pieces, this 20mm paving slab plus 500x1000mm and 1000x1000mm indoor tiles, and a rust colourway repeats the set, so the metal look can run from indoors to the terrace in either colour. See every Biloxi tile.
