Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.50m². Each 500x1000mm tile is 0.5m², so a box works out at roughly £69.40 per m² (£34.70 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The blue colourway runs through blue, aqua and green tones, blended together under a soft baroque pattern that has the washed-out look of a weathered painted floor. Nothing on it is crisp or new; the matt porcelain is made to look as though time has already done its work.

On a 500x1000mm tile the pattern has room to breathe. One row makes a feature strip on a bathroom wall, a full wall becomes a backdrop behind a bath, and across a kitchen or hallway floor it gives the effect of a faded rug. Conservatories and living rooms suit it too.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.50 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix on a flat, sound base with a flexible porcelain adhesive, combing the floor and buttering the back of each tile so there are no voids. A 3mm joint suits the size. Use levelling clips. Walls need to be rigid and rated for the weight of a large porcelain.
