Carmel Beige Minimal paving is the outdoor version of the beige stone tile: a 20mm thick porcelain slab, one metre square, in a soft sandy beige with gentle mineral movement and a honey warmth. It matches the indoor beige minimal tile so a patio can continue the kitchen floor.

Outdoor porcelain paving at 20mm is laid on pedestals, on a grit bed or on a mortar bed, and the one-metre format covers ground quickly with few joints. Use it for a terrace, a garden path or a balcony where a large, calm surface is wanted.

Porcelain paving does not stain, fade or need sealing, and it is described for use as an indoor-to-outdoor transition as well as for exteriors. Sold per slab at one square metre each. Weight and size mean two-person handling and clear site access are needed.

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Lay 20mm porcelain paving on adjustable pedestals, on a compacted grit bed, or on a full mortar bed with a priming slurry on the back of each slab. Keep joints at 3 to 5mm and use an exterior grout or jointing compound. Slabs this size need two people and a suction lifter. Cut with a diamond blade on a wet saw.
