A one-metre, 20mm thick outdoor porcelain slab in the varied beige face: soft beige with gentle mineral patterns and delicate surface movement. It has a warm, timeless look and matches the indoor Carmel Beige Varied tile for a seamless step from room to terrace.

This paving is designed for raised flooring on pedestals, which allows drainage beneath and access to services, and it can equally be laid on grit or a mortar bed. The large format suits rooftop terraces, patios and contemporary landscaping with minimal joints.

The slab is rectified for tight, even joints and has a matt face. Porcelain paving does not stain, does not need sealing and keeps its colour outdoors. It is sold individually at one square metre per slab; allow for two-person handling.

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Lay on adjustable pedestals for a raised deck, on a compacted grit bed, or on a full mortar bed with a slurry primer on the slab back. Keep joints at 3 to 5mm and point with an exterior jointing compound. Use a suction lifter and two fitters for every slab, and cut with a wet diamond saw.
