Carmel White Minimal is the quietest tile in the range. The face is a warm white with only faint mineral speckling and a gentle movement across it, so it reads as a soft, even stone rather than a patterned one. It gives a calm, unfussy background to a bathroom or kitchen.

At 600x1200mm each tile covers 0.72m², which keeps joints to a minimum on a shower wall or a long floor. Lay it in a stack for a clean modern grid, or offset the joints for a more natural stone layout. It suits both contemporary and more traditional rooms.

The tile is porcelain with a matt finish, which stays low-glare in a bright room and is easy to keep clean. It is rated for walls and floors indoors, and the subtle face means tiles can be mixed freely from box to box without a visible pattern.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay on a flat, primed substrate with a flexible porcelain adhesive, combed on the floor and back-buttered on the tile for full contact. Use a levelling clip system on this size and keep a narrow joint of 2 to 3mm. Grout in an off-white to match and cut on a rail cutter.
