Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Where the minimal face is plain, Carmel White Varied carries soft grey veining that drifts across a creamy white base like cloud. The tones shift from ivory to warm beige within a single tile, so no two pieces look quite alike and a wall of it has real depth.

This is a large-format 600x1200mm tile, and the veining is at its best over a big uninterrupted area such as a feature wall behind a bath or a floor through a kitchen-diner. Two tiles to a box make it easy to plan coverage at 1.44m² per box.

A matt porcelain that brings light and warmth to a room without any shine. It is made for walls and floors indoors and pairs with natural wood, monochrome schemes and metallic brassware. Spread the variation by drawing tiles from several boxes at once.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fit with a flexible cementitious adhesive on a flat base, back-buttering each tile and using levelling clips to keep the large faces flush. Keep a 2 to 3mm joint and choose a light grey or ivory grout. Dry-lay a few tiles first to balance the veining before fixing. Cut on a wet saw.
