Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £53.80 per m² (£19.37 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

For a bathroom or kitchen that wants warmth underfoot, Charleston Beige in 600x600mm is a straightforward choice. The square format suits most room shapes, and the box of three covers 1.08m², so a typical floor works out at a handful of boxes.

Colour is a warm beige with delicate travertine markings, light banding and the occasional darker fleck. It is quieter than real travertine but keeps its character. The matt surface has a slight softness to the touch and no reflection.

Porcelain throughout, so it is rated for floors and walls and suits hallways, living areas and conservatories as well as wet rooms. It does not need sealing and is easy to keep clean. A 300x600mm and a 100x300mm are made in the same beige for walls, borders and splashbacks.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive on a flat, stable base; comb the floor and butter the tile so there are no hollows. Space at 2-3mm and grout with a beige or sand tone for a seamless stone look. Shuffle tiles from several boxes to even out the colour.
