Sold by the box – 6 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 300x600mm tile is 0.18m², so a box works out at roughly £46.02 per m² (£8.28 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

At 300x600mm the Charleston Grey becomes a wall-friendly rectangle. It lays well horizontally in a half-bond above a bath or around a shower, and it still works on a floor in a smaller room. Six tiles to a box cover 1.08m².

The surface is a light grey with darker travertine bands running the length of the tile. On a 300x600mm face the banding is clearly visible and gives each tile its own character. Matt rather than polished, it keeps the colour soft and hides water spots.

It is a porcelain tile, so one product covers the walls and floor of a bathroom or runs through a kitchen and hallway. Pair it with the 600x600mm or 600x1200mm on the floor and keep this size on the walls, or use the matching grey mosaic for a shower floor.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with flexible porcelain adhesive and a 2-3mm joint. On walls, comb the adhesive and press the tile firmly; on floors, back-butter as well for full support. Set out from the centre of the wall so cuts are even at both ends, and mix boxes to spread the banding.
