Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £61.60 per m² (£44.35 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Charleston Grey is a light grey travertine-effect porcelain with darker banding running across the face. The bands sit in soft horizontal lines, the way cut travertine does, and the matt surface keeps the stone look low-key rather than shiny. Tone varies from tile to tile, so laid areas read as natural stone rather than a repeat print.

At 600x1200mm this is the long large format in the range. Two tiles cover 1.44m², so a floor or a full-height shower wall goes up with very few grout lines. Run the long edge with the banding for a calm, continuous look, or stack it vertically to make a low room feel taller.

It is porcelain, so it suits floors as well as walls and copes with the wet and the traffic of a bathroom, kitchen or hallway. The matt face does not show water marks the way a gloss does. Smaller sizes and mosaic sheets in the same grey are available for borders and feature panels.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Large format porcelain needs a flat, sound substrate; level uneven floors first. Use a flexible cementitious adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter each tile so there are no voids. Keep joints at 2-3mm, lay from several boxes at once to blend the shade, and use a levelling system to avoid lipping on such a long tile.
