Sold by the box – 19 tiles per box, covering around 0.57m². Each 100x300mm tile is 0.03m², so a box works out at roughly £77.37 per m² (£2.32 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Charleston White in a 100x300mm brick is an off-white porcelain with soft pale veining. The small format turns the veining into a gentle variation from one tile to the next, so a splashback or shower wall gets movement without colour. The finish is matt.

This size is made for detail work: a kitchen splashback, a shower enclosure, a bath panel or a border within a larger tile. It can be laid brick-bond, stacked or in herringbone. A box of nineteen tiles covers 0.57m², so small jobs do not need much.

Porcelain rather than ceramic, it is suitable for floors as well as walls and is at home in bathrooms, kitchens and hallways. Combine it with the 600x600mm or 600x1200mm white on floors and walls for a scheme where the small brick picks out one area.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 0.57 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix to a flat wall with a flexible porcelain adhesive through a 6mm notched trowel. Use a 2-3mm joint; a white or light grey grout keeps the wall soft, a darker one makes the brick pattern read. On floors, bed the tiles fully. Blend boxes while laying.
