Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 2.88m². Each 1200x1200mm tile is 1.44m², so a box works out at roughly £77.22 per m² (£111.20 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

For a big, quiet floor or a wall with almost no grout, Charleston White in 1200x1200mm is the tile to use. The off-white base carries soft pale veining across a full 1.44m² face, and because the finish is matt the light spreads evenly across it.

Large slabs suit open-plan kitchens, hallways and living areas, and they make a bathroom feel bigger by removing the grid of joints. Two tiles make a box and cover 2.88m². Plan the layout so cuts fall where they are least seen.

The porcelain body is dense and durable for floors and walls. Pair the slab with the 600x1200mm or 600x600mm white in adjoining rooms, or use the white mosaic sheets for a shower floor, and the whole scheme stays in one tone.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 2.88 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Handle with a lifting frame or two people. The base must be flat and solid; any dip shows as lipping. Comb a flexible porcelain adhesive onto the floor and the tile back, use a levelling clip system and 3mm joints, and tap to check for voids once laid.
