Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £61.60 per m² (£44.35 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The 600x1200mm format is the one to pick when you want a wall or floor with hardly any joints. Each tile covers 0.72m², so a standard bathroom floor can take as few as six or seven pieces. Laid in a straight stack or a half-bond, the long face carries the veining without interruption.

Charleston White is an off-white travertine effect with soft, pale veining drifting across the surface. It is a warm white rather than a cold one, and the markings stay subtle, so the overall impression is light and quiet. A matt finish holds that softness and avoids glare under downlights.

Being porcelain, the tile is dense and hard-wearing and suits floors, walls, kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces. Pair it with the matching white mosaic sheets for a shower niche or splashback, or drop in the grey or beige from the same range for a two-tone layout.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Check the floor or wall is flat before you start; long tiles show any dips as lipping. Bed on flexible porcelain adhesive, combing the wall or floor and buttering the back of the tile. Use 2-3mm spacers and a levelling clip system, and work from two or three boxes at once.
