AKW Contour P12 Peristaltic Shower Waste Pump – Choice of Standard Pump Only, Link or Link Pump Only
The Contour P12 from AKW is a peristaltic shower waste pump designed for near-silent, reliable drainage in showering areas where gravity drainage is not possible. A peristaltic pump moves water by squeezing a flexible tube rather than spinning an impeller in the water, which helps keep running noise very low.
The P12 has proportional speed control in its control box, keeping noise to a minimum with AKW SmartCare showers, and an efficient 24V DC motor for low running costs. The Link version connects directly to compatible showers – wirelessly to the flow sensor in AKW SmartCare electric showers, or to AKW thermostatic showers and other brands with a pump control output – so no separate flow switch is needed.

Standard or Link?
Choose Link if you are fitting an AKW SmartCare electric shower or a shower with a pump control output – the pump starts with the shower without a separate flow switch. Choose Standard for other electric showers; standard kits use a flow switch, which is available in our P12 spares listing. Mixer showers need an additional flow switch and flow limiters.
“Pump only” versions do not include a waste: add a pumped waste such as the CUW01 or UPSW pumped wastes.
Installation notes
