Sold by the box – 8 tiles per box, covering around 1.30m². Each 202x802mm tile is 0.162m², so a box works out at roughly £42.77 per m² (£6.95 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Del Mar Light Beech with a textured anti-slip surface. The pale honey beech colour and soft grain are the same as the matt plank; the difference is a fine grip texture that makes it safer when wet. It is the version intended for outdoor use and for floors that need traction.

Planks measure 202x802mm and come eight to a box, covering 1.30m². Laid in a staggered bond they look like decking or floorboards. Because the colour matches the indoor matt plank, a kitchen floor can continue straight out through bifold doors.

Porcelain stands up to frost, sun and water without any treatment, and the light colour stays cooler in the sun than a dark plank. The manufacturer lists it for walls and floors, with the anti-slip finish made for external use. Hose or brush it clean.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.30 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

For outdoor use, bed on a full, solid layer of flexible exterior porcelain adhesive over a sound concrete base laid to a fall, with 3-5mm joints and a frost-resistant grout. Indoors, use a flexible porcelain adhesive on a flat floor with 2-3mm joints. Mix planks across boxes.
