Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £52.22 per m² (£18.80 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The darkest tile in the Edgartown range. A deep black ground with thin, lighter veins printed across it to suggest a dark natural stone. The surface is natural matt, so the black stays matt and dense rather than mirror-like, and fingermarks and water spots show far less than they would on a polished tile.

At 600x600mm the tile covers 0.36m² on its own, with three in a box for 1.08m². Fewer joints mean the black reads as one surface across a floor, which looks best with a dark grey or black grout. The square shape lays in a grid or on the diagonal.

Porcelain, suitable for floors and walls indoors, including wetrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living areas. The range has no black wall tile in the smaller sizes, so pair it with the white, bone or grey wall tiles for contrast.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Bed the tiles fully in a flexible cementitious adhesive on a level, sound floor, with no voids beneath the 600mm format. Use 2 to 3mm joints and a dark flexible grout. In a wetroom, tank the substrate first. Work from several boxes at once.
