Sold by the box – 6 tiles per box, covering around 1.22m². Each 450x450mm tile is 0.203m², so a box works out at roughly £42.79 per m² (£8.70 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Kitchens and hallways that want warmth underfoot rather than cool grey tend to pick this one. The bone colour is a pale ivory with a touch of beige, printed with a soft stone marbling, and the natural matt finish stops the floor from showing every scuff and reflection.

Each 450x450mm tile covers about 0.2m², with six to a box for 1.22m². The square format lays as a plain grid or on the diagonal and leaves fewer grout lines than a smaller tile, which makes a modest floor look larger.

It is a ceramic tile for indoor floors and walls, suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living rooms. The bone wall tiles in 270x420mm, 300x600mm and 300x900mm share the same print, so a room can be done in one colour from floor to ceiling.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.22 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Lay on a sound, level floor using a flexible cementitious adhesive with full coverage under each tile. Keep joints at 2 to 3mm and use a flexible grout. Take tiles from several boxes as you work so the shade is evenly mixed across the floor.
