Sold by the box – 9 tiles per box, covering around 1.02m². Each 270x420mm tile is 0.113m², so a box works out at roughly £38.24 per m² (£4.33 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

This is the decor piece that goes with the plain grey 270x420mm wall tile. It carries the same mid grey stone print, with soft marbling in the natural matt surface, but the face is broken into overlapping sections so it reads as a feature rather than a flat field.

Use it as a single band behind a basin, a panel at the end of a bath or a full wall in a shower enclosure, with the plain grey tile around it. Nine tiles fill a box of just over a square metre, so one box is usually enough for a feature strip.

It is a ceramic tile for indoor walls only, not floors. The 270x420mm size is the smallest in the Edgartown family and the easiest to handle in a compact bathroom or cloakroom. Hang it in the same direction as the plain tiles so the courses line through.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.02 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix to a flat, dry wall with a cementitious or ready-mixed wall tile adhesive, bedding the whole back of the tile. Leave 2 to 3mm joints to match the plain tiles alongside it. Set the decor tiles out first so the pattern sits where you want it. Walls only.
