Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £52.22 per m² (£18.80 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A large-format grey porcelain tile for floors that need to take some wear. The 600x600mm square covers 0.36m² per tile and three to a box give 1.08m², so an open-plan kitchen or hallway floor goes down with a minimum of grout lines.

The print is a mid grey stone with lighter marbling, matching the grey wall tiles elsewhere in the Edgartown family. The natural matt surface has no shine and shows a soft, even tone under daylight. Variation between tiles is modest, so the floor looks consistent.

Porcelain is the denser, harder material in the range, and this tile is suitable for floors and walls indoors, including wetrooms. It also suits bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living spaces. Use the grey 300x600mm or 300x900mm ceramic wall tiles on the walls to match.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix on floors with a flexible cementitious adhesive, bedding the full tile with no hollows under the large format. Use a 2 to 3mm joint and a flexible grout. For wetroom floors, tank the base before tiling. Blend tiles from several boxes across the area.
