Sold by the box – 9 tiles per box, covering around 1.02m². Each 270x420mm tile is 0.113m², so a box works out at roughly £35.10 per m² (£3.98 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The smallest white tile in the Edgartown range, and the one that makes a compact bathroom feel bigger. The 270x420mm rectangle is easy to cut and handle, and nine of them fill a box of around a square metre, so ordering for a cloakroom or a short splashback is straightforward.

On the face is a soft white stone print with pale grey marbling that gives the tile some life without a strong pattern. The surface is natural matt, which hides water marks better than a gloss and keeps a white bathroom from looking clinical.

It is a ceramic tile intended for indoor walls in bathrooms, kitchens, conservatories and living areas. It is not for floors. The white overlap decor in the same size adds a feature panel, and the white 450x450mm ceramic or 600x600mm porcelain floor tiles match it underfoot.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.02 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a ready-mixed or cementitious wall tile adhesive on a flat, dry wall and bed each tile fully. Keep 2 to 3mm joints with spacers and grout once set, choosing a flexible grout for showers. Take tiles from several boxes as you go. Walls only.
