Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £46.02 per m² (£16.57 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Fairhope Sand in the 600x600mm square is a warm, even stone colour with a light shell-like pattern on the face. It suits open-plan kitchen and living floors where a calm, natural tone is wanted. The colour sits well with timber, white walls and natural textiles.

Three rectified tiles per box give 1.08m² of cover. The square format lays as a straight grid with 2–3mm joints, and the tile is also approved for wall use so it can run up a shower or splashback.

Porcelain is hard and low-absorbency. The matt surface has an antimicrobial treatment that reduces bacteria and neutralises odours. It needs no sealing and resists staining, so the floor keeps its colour with routine cleaning in busy rooms such as kitchens and hallways.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible cement-based adhesive and a full bed on a level floor, back-buttering if the base is uneven. Keep a 2–3mm joint and choose a sand-coloured grout. Mix tiles from different boxes to keep the shade consistent.
