Falmouth Grey Marble Effect Matt Ceramic Wall Tile 270x420mm (Per Box of 9 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 9 tiles per box, covering around 1.02m². Each 270x420mm tile is 0.113m², so a box works out at roughly £25.00 per m² (£2.83 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

A soft grey marble effect with light, loosely drawn veining and a matt surface, in a 270x420mm ceramic wall tile. The grey is gentle rather than cold, and without a gloss the pattern reads like honed stone. It is a budget-friendly way to tile a bathroom in a marble look.

Nine tiles per box cover 1.02m². The size is a comfortable one for bathroom walls, laid in a horizontal brick bond to widen a room or stacked for a cleaner grid. It pairs with the gloss cream or calacatta white tiles from the same range for a splashback that catches the light.

A glazed ceramic for indoor walls only. It is light and easy to cut, so trimming around pipes and fittings is straightforward, and the matt glaze wipes clean without showing smears. Lay from mixed boxes so the veining is spread naturally across the wall.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.02 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix to a flat, dry wall with a standard ceramic wall adhesive, combed with a 6mm notched trowel. Set out from the centre so cuts balance at each end. A 2 to 3mm joint with a light grey grout suits the matt grey; mix tiles from several boxes as you go.

Grey is one of three matt Falmouth tiles, with stone and white; cream and calacatta white come in gloss, and all five share the 270x420mm ceramic format, so a matt main wall and a gloss splashback can be chosen from one family. See every Falmouth tile.
