A soft, light grey with the worn surface of old stone. Florence Pale Grey is the gentlest of the greys in the range: cooler than the ivory, lighter than the autumn grey, with a matt face and a slightly aged edge. It suits both modern and traditional rooms.

The 300x300mm square is the smallest module. Twelve to a box, covering 1.08m², it lays as a tidy grid or mixes with the 300x500mm and 500x500mm pale grey in a random flagstone pattern. It is a good size for a cloakroom or a small kitchen floor.

As a porcelain tile it is suitable for floors and walls indoors, and for the wet and wear of bathrooms, kitchens and hallways. The matt glaze cleans with a mop and needs no sealing. A light grey grout keeps the floor reading as one surface.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Bed each tile fully in flexible porcelain adhesive on a level, dust-free base. A 3-5mm joint suits the flagstone edge; grout in a light or mid grey. For a random modular floor, work out the repeat with all three sizes before fixing. Lay from several boxes at once to blend the shades.
