Gulfport Ice White Concrete Effect Matt Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600x1200mm (Per Box of 2 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The 600x1200mm Ice White is the largest and lightest tile in the Gulfport range. One slab covers almost three quarters of a square metre, so a shower wall needs only a handful of pieces and very few joints. The cool white face has just a whisper of concrete shading.

Large-format tiles make a small bathroom look bigger because the eye reads the wall as one surface. Lay it vertically for height or horizontally for width. On a floor it suits open-plan kitchens and living areas where joints would otherwise break up the space.

The tile is a 9mm rectified porcelain in a natural matt finish. It does not need sealing, resists stains and water, and is suitable for internal walls and floors. The matt surface keeps the large face looking even in strong light, with none of the reflections a polished tile would give.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

A 600x1200mm tile needs a flat substrate, a full bed of flexible porcelain adhesive, back-buttering and a levelling clip system to avoid lippage. Two people make fixing easier. Keep a 2mm joint with a white or pale grey grout. Use a large-format wet cutter or scoring rail for cuts.

Gulfport is a concrete-effect porcelain in six softly shaded neutrals (ice white, warm beige, taupe grey, light grey, mid grey and dark grey), all in a natural matt finish and all made in 300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm, so the same calm surface can carry from one room to the next.
