Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £38.24 per m² (£13.77 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

In a 600x600mm square the pale Light Grey gives a bright, open floor with the soft, slightly cloudy look of smooth concrete. It is a cooler alternative to beige and a gentler one than mid grey, and it keeps a small bathroom feeling spacious.

The square tile sets out cleanly from a centre line and leaves few cuts in a rectangular room. It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors and walls, and a conservatory where a pale tile stays cool-looking in sunlight. Fewer joints also mean less grout to keep clean over time.

The tile is porcelain, 9mm thick, with rectified edges and a natural matt surface. It resists water and stains, needs no sealing and is approved for internal walls and floors. The matt face is comfortable underfoot and does not show the smears a polished tile would in a bright room.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Use a flexible porcelain adhesive and full-bed coverage on a flat, primed substrate, back-buttering each tile. Levelling clips help keep the joints flush. A 2mm joint and a light grey grout suit the rectified edge. Blend tiles from more than one box across the floor.
