This is the true mid-tone of the Gulfport range: a clean, neutral grey with a cement-like softness that neither washes out nor darkens a room. The shading shifts gently from tile to tile, which gives a wall or floor some life without a visible pattern repeat.

In a 300x600mm size the tile is quick to set out and easy to handle on walls. It suits shower enclosures, bath panels and full-height feature walls, and on floors it works in bathrooms, hallways and kitchens where a large slab would be awkward.

The 9mm porcelain body is dense and low in water absorption, with rectified edges for a slim joint. The natural matt finish hides smears and is comfortable underfoot, and it needs no sealing after fitting. It is specified for indoor walls and floors in bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and living spaces.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.26 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Bed the tiles in flexible cementitious adhesive on a clean, primed substrate. Rectified edges allow a 2mm joint; a grey grout close to the tile colour keeps the surface reading as one. Draw from several boxes at once to even out the shading, and cut with a wet diamond cutter.
