Gulfport Taupe Grey Concrete Effect Matt Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600x1200mm (Per Box of 2 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Taupe Grey in the 600x1200mm format is a greige slab, grey with a warm undertone, with the soft shading of a concrete screed. The muted colour and the large face together give a calm, uninterrupted surface that suits both modern and more traditional rooms.

At this size the tile is intended for big walls and open floors. It makes a strong backdrop to a freestanding bath or a run of kitchen units, and laid on the floor it reduces the number of grout lines to a minimum.

A 9mm porcelain with rectified edges and a natural matt finish. The surface is stain-resistant, needs no sealer and is suited to walls and floors indoors, including hallways and conservatories. The warm grey hides dust and footprints better than either a pure white or a dark tile would.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Large-format porcelain demands a flat base: check with a straight edge first. Use a flexible cementitious adhesive, comb the floor and back-butter the tile, and fit levelling clips. Keep a 2mm joint with a greige grout. Two people should lift and set each tile.
