Gulfport Taupe Grey Concrete Effect Matt Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 600x600mm (Per Box of 3 Tiles)

Sold by the box – 3 tiles per box, covering around 1.08m². Each 600x600mm tile is 0.36m², so a box works out at roughly £38.24 per m² (£13.77 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

Taupe Grey in the 600x600mm square is a greige concrete tile: grey with a warm, earthy base. It avoids the coldness of a plain grey and the yellowness of a beige, which makes it one of the easiest colours in the range to live with across a whole house.

Large squares suit open floors. In a kitchen-diner or hallway the 600mm grid looks orderly and the warm tone hides everyday marks. On a bathroom wall it gives a plain, large-scale backdrop to a freestanding bath.

A 9mm porcelain with rectified edges and a natural matt face. It takes a narrow joint, does not need sealing and is suitable for internal walls and floors including conservatories. The dense body resists stains and water, so spills in a kitchen wipe away without marking the surface.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.08 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Check the floor is flat before laying; large-format porcelain will not bend to follow dips. Use a flexible cementitious adhesive with full coverage, back-buttering each tile, and a levelling system. Keep joints at 2mm with a greige grout. Blend from several boxes.

Gulfport is a concrete-effect porcelain in six softly shaded neutrals (ice white, warm beige, taupe grey, light grey, mid grey and dark grey), all in a natural matt finish and all made in 300x600mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm, so the same calm surface can carry from one room to the next.
