Sold by the box – 2 tiles per box, covering around 1.44m². Each 600x1200mm tile is 0.72m², so a box works out at roughly £52.29 per m² (£37.65 a tile). We only supply full boxes.

The 600x1200mm plank format shows long runs of the gold and grey veining that define this colourway, set on a warm ivory base and finished to a high polish. Laid on a wall the veins pull the eye upward; on a floor they stretch a room lengthways.

Each box holds two tiles covering 1.44m², which makes ordering for a bathroom floor or shower wall straightforward. The size works well stacked vertically behind a basin or run in a staggered bond across a kitchen floor, and it pairs with the smaller Hatteras gold sizes for borders and returns.

This is a porcelain tile with rectified edges, rated for walls and floors indoors. The polished face is dense and easy to wipe down, though it shows smears and dust between cleans more than a matt finish would, so allow for a little more upkeep on a floor.

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.44 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

Fix with a flexible, polymer-modified adhesive suited to porcelain, trowelled with a large notch and back-buttered on each tile. Check the wall or floor is flat before you start; a 1200mm length will rock on any high spot. Keep joints tight, around 2mm, and mix tiles from both boxes as you lay.
