Hyannis Folk Art Floral Satin Porcelain Wall Tile 600x1200mm (Box of 2 Panels)

Sold as a box of 2 panels. Each panel measures 600x1200mm.

Folk Art is a naive, hand-drawn floral in the style of painted folk decoration: simple flower and leaf shapes, flat colour and a cheerful, slightly rustic feel. It is the most playful of the Hyannis murals and suits a kitchen, a child's bathroom or a hallway as well as a bedroom.

Each box contains two 600x1200mm satin porcelain panels that sit together as a 1200x1200mm picture, 1.44m² in all. One box gives a framed feature; several boxes in a row turn a whole wall into the pattern. Panels are set tight so the join is barely visible.

The material is porcelain with a satin, semi-polished face, for indoor walls only. The print is permanent and wipeable, so it can go behind a sink or a hob where wallpaper could not. It is made to order, so allow around three to four weeks for delivery.

Specification

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

Set both panels face-up on the floor and mark left and right. Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive suited to large tiles, on a flat, primed background, back-buttering each panel so it is fully supported. A narrow joint and a grout toned to the background keep the mural reading as one image.
