Description
Description
Sold by the box – 14 sheets per box, covering around 1.13m². Each 285x285mm sheet is 0.081m², so a box works out at roughly £235.66 per m² (£19.02 a sheet). We only supply full boxes.
A Victorian geometric floor in a beige colourway: the traditional pattern of small squares and triangles worked in cream, beige and ivory tones, which gives a period layout without the hard contrast of black and white. The matt, unglazed porcelain surface is close to the look of the original encaustic floors.
Each 285x285mm sheet carries the pattern on a mesh backing and is laid as one piece, so the floor goes down far faster than loose pieces. It belongs in a hallway first, but kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories and living rooms in older houses take it just as well.
Porcelain throughout, hard-wearing and intended for floors indoors. Sold by the box of 14 sheets, which covers 1.13m². The four 93x93mm inset motifs from the same range can be set into the field as focal points.

Working out how many boxes
Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.13 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.
Fitting notes
Each sheet is mesh-backed and laid as one unit. Use a flexible floor adhesive with a fine notched trowel so adhesive does not squeeze up through the joints, and press the sheet in evenly with a float. Keep the sheet-to-sheet gap equal to the gaps within the sheet. Grout with a fine joint grout.

Jekyll is a Victorian geometric floor made in beige, yellow, red and black and white, each as a 285x285mm mesh-backed sheet, with four 93x93mm decorative insets to drop into the field as focal points; the Sag Harbor border and corner sheets frame it in the traditional way. See every Jekyll tile.
