Jekyll Cross Roundel Victorian Matt Porcelain Decorative Inset Floor Tile 93x93mm (Per Sheet)

Priced per sheet. Each 93x93mm sheet is supplied individually, so order the exact number you need.

The cross roundel inset sets a small cross inside a circle, cut from porcelain pieces and pre-mounted on mesh as one 93x93mm unit. The circle gives the geometric floor a softer shape to rest the eye on, and the motif is scaled to the same module as the field sheets.

Set one at the centre of a hallway or a pair at the threshold of a room, or repeat it on a grid across a kitchen or conservatory floor. Because it is matt porcelain in the same palette as the sheets, it sits level and blends in, with only the shape marking it out.

Suitable for indoor floors and sold per sheet, so order the exact count for your layout. It works with the beige, yellow, red and black and white field sheets and alongside the Leaf Cross, Rosette Roundel and Quatrefoil insets.

Specification

Working out how many you need

Measure the area or run you are covering, allow 10% extra for cuts and breakages, and order the full quantity together so everything comes from the same batch.

Fitting notes

The motif arrives on a mesh backing and goes down as one unit. Mark its position on the field sheet, cut the matching square out before fixing, then bed the inset in flexible adhesive at the same time as the surrounding pieces so everything is level. Grout the fine joints together.

Jekyll offers four 93x93mm insets, this Cross Roundel among them, for its Victorian field sheets in beige, yellow, red and black and white, and the Sag Harbor border and corner sheets give the floor a traditional frame. See every Jekyll tile.
