Jekyll Yellow Victorian Pattern Matt Porcelain Floor Tile 285x285mm (Per Box of 14 Sheets)

Sold by the box – 14 sheets per box, covering around 1.13m². Each 285x285mm sheet is 0.081m², so a box works out at roughly £235.66 per m² (£19.02 a sheet). We only supply full boxes.

The yellow colourway takes the Victorian geometric pattern and works it in mustard and ochre tones with paler pieces for contrast. It is the warmest of the four colourways and the one that reads most as a contemporary take on a period floor. The surface is matt and unglazed.

The pattern is supplied on 285x285mm mesh-backed sheets that are laid as single units, so the small pieces stay in their correct positions and the floor goes down quickly. A hallway or porch is the natural home, with kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories close behind.

Hard-wearing porcelain for indoor floors. A box holds 14 sheets and covers 1.13m². Decorative 93x93mm insets from the same range can be dropped into the field, and border and corner sheets are available to frame it.

Specification

Working out how many boxes

Measure the wall or floor in square metres, add 10% for cuts and breakages, divide by 1.13 and round up to the next whole box. Order everything you need in one go – shade can vary a little between production batches, and buying all your boxes together keeps the whole area from the same run.

Fitting notes

These are mesh-mounted sheets, so set each one as a single piece. Spread flexible adhesive thinly with a small-notch trowel, bed the sheet with a flat float and check the spacing between sheets matches the internal joints. Wipe adhesive off the face before it sets, then grout once cured.

The Jekyll range gives the same Victorian geometric floor in four colourways, beige, yellow, red and black and white, all on 285x285mm sheets, plus four decorative inset motifs at 93x93mm, and it pairs with the Sag Harbor border and corner sheets for a framed period layout. See every Jekyll tile.
