Kartell K-VIT G4K 3/4" Bath Taps Chrome (TAP115G4K)

The Kartell K-VIT G4K range is the budget end of the Kartell brassware line — plain, chrome, and priced for a rental, a second bathroom, or a job where the taps need to work rather than impress.

This is a pair of 3/4" bath taps: two separate taps, one hot and one cold.

Pillar taps or a bath filler?

Pillar taps are the traditional arrangement — two separate taps, no mixing. You fill the bath with both running and mix in the bath itself.

Where they genuinely make sense is a two tap hole bath you're keeping. Fitting a bath filler instead would still work on a two-hole bath, but pillar taps are the cheaper swap and the simpler fit — useful in a rental where you're replacing tired taps rather than redoing the bathroom.

The honest trade-off: you can't set a temperature at the tap.

Note the 3/4" size

These are 3/4" bath taps, not the 1/2" size used on basins. Bath taps are larger so the bath fills in reasonable time. If you're looking for basin taps, you want the 1/2" G4K pair instead — they look similar but won't interchange.

Before you order

Check your bath has two tap holes at the correct centres.

Suitable for low pressure systems, so they work on gravity-fed plumbing as well as mains pressure — though on low pressure any bath tap fills slowly.
