Kartell K-VIT Denver Designer Radiator – White Gloss (All Sizes)
Denver is a horizontal designer radiator from Kartell. It is made from seven flat steel tubes stacked one above the other, each curving round at the ends into the uprights, which gives it soft, rounded edges instead of the sharp corners of a standard panel radiator. This is the white gloss version; it is also available in Textured Grey.
Gloss white is the classic choice: it blends into a white or pale wall so the radiator looks lighter, and is easy to wipe clean.
Both sizes are 500mm high – choose the width from the dropdown.

Choosing a size
At only 500mm high, Denver fits under most windows and along low or awkward stretches of wall where a tall radiator will not go. The 1000mm wide version gives roughly half as much heat again as the 600mm.
To check a size is enough for the room, use a BTU calculator, which works out a figure from the room's size, windows and outside walls, and pick the size whose output meets it. Kartell quote the output at Δt60, a standard test temperature. Many modern boilers, and especially heat pumps, run cooler than that, so the heat you actually get may be lower than the figure shown.
Fitting
Denver is supplied with fixings for the wall. Valves are sold separately – see our radiator valves.
The two pipe connections are underneath, 400mm apart on the 600mm wide version and 800mm apart on the 1000mm (the “tapping centres”). If you are replacing an existing radiator, measure the distance between your pipes first – if it does not match, the pipework will need adjusting. The radiator itself is 101.5mm deep, and the adjustable wall brackets hold the pipe connections 52.5–62.5mm out from the wall. Make sure the wall can take the weight once the radiator is full of water: solid walls are straightforward, but stud and plasterboard walls need suitable heavy-duty fixings or a timber support behind the board.
Looking after the finish
Wipe over with a soft, damp cloth and dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and strong cleaners, which can dull or scratch the finish.
