Kartell K-VIT K-Therm Refined All Chrome Thermostatic Radiator Valve – Chrome (Straight or Angled)

The all-chrome version of Kartell’s K-Therm Refined thermostatic radiator valve (TRV): head and body are both polished chrome, so it suits chrome towel rails and radiators where a white head would stand out. Turn the numbered head to choose how warm you want the room and the valve opens and closes by itself to hold that temperature.

This is a single thermostatic valve – it does not include a lockshield valve for the other end of the radiator. Choose straight or angled from the dropdown.

Which option do I need?

• Straight valve – a single thermostatic valve for pipes that come up through the floor into a radiator or towel rail whose connection points downwards. It does not include a lockshield valve.
• Angled valve – a single thermostatic valve for pipes that come up from the floor or out of the wall and turn through 90° into the side of the radiator. It does not include a lockshield valve.

Ordering the wrong shape is an easy mistake to make, so it’s worth a quick look behind the radiator before you buy.

Fitting

These valves are for standard UK 15mm pipework. Fitting means draining down or isolating the heating system, so we recommend a plumber or heating engineer. Make sure the thermostatic head can ‘feel’ the air in the room – behind a long curtain or inside a box it will read trapped warm air and switch off too early.
