Kartell K-VIT Kolt Concealed Shower Valve (Single Outlet) – Brushed Brass (SHO323KBB)

The Kartell K-VIT Kolt shower range matches the Kolt brassware — a squared-off body with softly rounded edges. This is the concealed thermostatic shower valve, single outlet, in brushed brass.

Single outlet or twin?

Single outlet (this one) feeds one thing — either a fixed overhead drencher or a slide rail kit with handset, not both.

If you want both and the ability to switch, you need the twin outlet valve. The price difference is small and it's not something you can add later without opening the wall.

This has to be planned before you tile

A concealed valve buries the mechanism in the wall, leaving only the control plate on show. The valve body must be set at the right depth and height before the wall is boarded and tiled. Too deep and the plate won't sit flush; too shallow and it stands proud.

The body is 210mm long. A stud wall needs noggins to fix to; a solid wall needs chasing out.

Thermostatic, and why that matters

Holds the temperature you set even if water is drawn elsewhere in the house, and shuts down if the cold supply fails.

Why brushed brass

Warm and premium, and more forgiving than chrome day to day — the brushed surface hides water spotting and limescale better than a mirror finish, which counts for a lot in a shower.

It works best as a coordinated scheme, pairing with Kartell's Ottone screens, brass wastes and brass brassware. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid abrasives and limescale remover.
