The Kartell K-VIT Lois Square Countertop Basin is a compact rectangular bowl with straight sides and a flat rim, sitting on top of a worktop or vanity unit rather than being recessed into it.

At 390mm it is the smallest countertop basin Kartell make, which makes it a genuine option for a cloakroom where a countertop basin would normally be out of the question.

Important — This Basin Has No Tap Hole

The Lois basins have no tap hole, so the tap cannot be mounted on the basin itself. You will need either a wall-mounted basin mixer plumbed through the wall behind, or a tall deck-mounted basin mixer fitted into the worktop alongside with enough height to clear the rim.

A standard basin mixer intended to sit on the basin will not work. Worth settling the tap before ordering, as a wall-mounted mixer affects the plumbing behind the wall.

What Else You Will Need

A surface to sit on — an existing worktop, or one of the Kartell solid surface worktops, which pair with the 500mm and 600mm Atlantis, Dove, Urban, Sanctuary, Moon, City and Purity vanity units.

Tap and waste are not included and are sold separately.

Square or Round?

The Lois Round 425mm is the same family in a cylindrical shape and slightly wider. Both have no tap hole and share the same straight-sided profile.
