Kartell K-VIT Nostalgia Thermostatic Radiator Valve Twin Pack 15mm Angled – Antique Brass (VLVCHA-TRV)

Kartell K-VIT Nostalgia Thermostatic Radiator Valve Twin Pack 15mm Angled – Antique Brass (VLVCHA-TRV)

A traditional-style thermostatic radiator valve twin pack in an antique brass finish, with Victorian detailing to suit period homes, cast iron-style radiators and traditional towel rails. The pack contains a thermostatic valve, which you turn to choose how warm you want the room, and a matching lockshield valve for the other end of the radiator, which your plumber sets once to balance the heating system.

These are angled valves: use them where the pipe comes up out of the floor (or out of the wall) and turns through 90° into the side of the radiator. They are made from solid brass for standard UK 15mm pipework.

Fitting

Fitting means draining down or isolating the heating system, so we recommend a plumber or heating engineer. Make sure the thermostatic valve can ‘feel’ the air in the room – behind a long curtain or inside a box it will read trapped warm air and switch off too early.

Looking after the finish

Antique brass has a deliberately aged look. Wipe with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth only – metal polish, abrasive pads and strong cleaning sprays will strip the finish.
