Kartell K-VIT Premium Robe Hook – Matt Black (ACC314)

Kartell K-VIT Premium Robe Hook – Matt Black (ACC314)

Premium is Kartell's range of brass bathroom accessories, with crisp square backplates and clean, modern lines, made in four finishes – chrome, matt black, brushed nickel and brushed brass – so the finishing touches can match the taps and shower in the rest of the room. This is the matt black version.

A double robe hook with two upturned prongs on a single square backplate, for a dressing gown, robe or towel.

Choosing and using it

It is 90mm wide and 35mm high, standing 45mm out from the wall. Two prongs mean two items on one hook, so it suits a door or a narrow space between tiles where a towel bar will not fit.

Also available in Chrome and Brushed Brass.

Fitting

Robe hooks are usually fitted at about 1600–1800mm from the floor so a long robe hangs clear of the floor. If you are fixing to the back of a door, check the screw length against the door thickness – hollow internal doors need short screws or a specialist fixing.

Before drilling, make sure the fixings you use suit your wall: plasterboard and stud walls need cavity fixings rather than standard plugs, and tiles should be drilled with a tile bit on a slow speed to avoid cracking.

Looking after the finish

Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and limescale removers, which can mark the finish.
